My first passion, musical theatre. Ever since I heard my father's 8-track of Jesus Christ Superstar at age 12, I knew I wanted to work in theatre. I quickly got started on my musical version of Beowulf and quickly realized what an awful idea that was. Fortunately I've come a long way since then, and have since written scores for the plays I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnick and Getting Away With Murder, by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth. I've also written a 15-minute musical (music and lyrics) called The Road Home, and am currently working on a full-length show that I'll be announcing in the near future.

In the meantime, please enjoy these recordings!

A quirky cabaret song I wrote for a female to sing.  Vocals here by Melanie Burg; be sure to check her out!  This song was a finalist in the Ken Davenport Songwriting Competition; if you're interested in singing it at an audition or a cabaret, the sheet music is available in the Store!

A comedic cabaret song I wrote for a male singer; vocals here by Tony Edgerton.  If you're interested in singing it somewhere, the sheet music is available in the Store!

This is a mash-up arrangment I did of two songs from Rent, for three female voices, piano, violin, viola, and cello. Vocals by Hope Landry, Gayle Artino, and Elizabeth Gravitt Daffin. Drop me a line at if you'd like to get the sheet music and discuss performing the arrangement!
